The DH-TAM1GT1GT-30 PoE Midspan (or POE injector) is used to add POE capability to regular non-POE network links. Midspans can be used to upgrade existing LAN installations to POE, and provide a versatile solution where fewer POE ports are required. Designed to work in extreme temperature environments and in applications that experience lightning. The midspan offers a single PoE (802.3at) port with an internal power supply in a compact housing. The midspan carries both data and power along an Ethernet cable for easy installation of IP cameras, wireless access points, or a VOIP phone.
