About the Petzl NEWTON MEWP Kit

The Petzl NEWTON MEWP Kit provides a ready-to-use ANSI-compliant fall protection solution for high-rise workers that use a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP), such as a boom lift, scissor lift, or bucket truck. This kit contains a NEWTON fall arrest harness, a pre-assembled ABSORBICA-I 150 fall arrest lanyard, and a red BUCKET 15 bag. Installation is quick and easy; simply attach the carabiner on the shock-absorber end to the fall arrest attachment point on the NEWTON harness and the carabiner on the other end to the approved fall arrest anchor point in the MEWP.

Petzl ABSORBICA-I 150

Petzl's ABSORBICA-I 150 Fall Arrest Lanyard incorporates a compact energy absorber specially engineered for safe use along a horizontal lifeline or elevated platforms without the need for intermediate anchors. This versatile lanyard offers multiple attachment possibilities on your harness and comes pre-assembled with two Bm’D connectors and two CAPTIV positioning bars.

Petzl BUCKET 15

Conveniently store and transport your Petzl NEWTON MEWP Kit with the BUCKET 15 bag. The BUCKET features an easy-to-use roll-top closure, an external pocket with a zipper, and two large handles for easy carrying. It is made of durable TPU tarp material and is resistant to UV exposure, oil, grease, and extreme temperatures.
